In April, I got the opportunity to move to Nagoya, Japan, for 3 months, and it was an incredible experience through and through. That's me second from the right in the picture with my childhood friend Isaiah (far-left), Daniel and Servus (on the right)

Serving alongside the Connect Community Church with Nilesh was a joy. Challenging myself with street outreach really helped me grow in my faith.
Also, serving at the Global Cafe multicultural community group was a really special part of my internship. I made lifelong friends with people in Nagoya, and connecting with them was always a highlight of my week.

Being involved in the Japanese culture and taking extensive Japanese lessons really gave me a deep admiration for Japanese culture and language.
I pray more Christians take a hold of this internship, and God sends them out there so that the hope and grace of Jesus can be shared with the nation of Japan.

Thank you to Nilesh and everyone who helped with discipleship training, and thank you to my language study Sensei’s. And most importantly, a special thanks to God for bringing me out there and displaying your glory all around the globe.
