The Activate internship is especially suited for missionaries looking for a part-time option that can work alongside Japanese study, part-time work or caring for family needs.

Language Study
This course is run by our partner Connect Japanese School, and supported by a team of experienced, qualified and dedicated Japanese teachers. In one year you will get your Japanese up to a pre-intermediate (A2/B1) level over the three terms. This 4-day a week intensive course is a key component of the full internship.
Team
Activate is supported by a team of missionaries from across Japan. This team supports in different capacities whether that be in terms of administration, marketing, teaching or in an advisory capacity. Please note that through the internship we have specialist teachers, who have an academic background and deeper knowledge and experience in particular areas, who will join the sessions to provide that specialist input. The activate team are all united in their vision to see missionaries strengthened, equipped and released to see the multiplication of healthy disciples and churches across Japan and East-Asia.
